Such as offshore oil and gas extraction, ship technology with the equipment industry correspondent, fishing technology and aquaculture technology.

Shanghai Jiao Tong UniversityThe Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (NAOE), founded in 1943, was the first school of higher education and scientific research in China in this field.

It is also at the top of the world ranking of academic subjects of the Shanghai 2017 ranking. The department has a solid organization and a highly competent faculty that exceeds 160. It has the support of five national centers, as well as several other industrial centers and laboratories.

Equally, it covers all aspects of ocean engineering, including design and manufacturing, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, naval properties, special equipment. Also ocean engineering, underwater engineering, acoustic engineering, marine engine engineering, coastal engineering, ocean science, etc.

University Of Strathclyde: Located in the heart of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland, the University of Strathclyde welcomes students from more than 100 countries. Basically, their courses are designed to help you develop key engineering skills for the marine environment. And also to apply them to practical problems through design projects that you will carry out individually and in groups.

Most importantly, the Department of Naval Architecture, Oceanic and Marine Engineering (NAOME) is a leading institution in Scotland. Above all, they offer excellent teaching and research facilities in naval architecture, maritime and marine engineering. This helps you to broaden your career possibilities in naval, marine architecture, offshore Oil and gas industry.

This course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and the Marine Engineering, Science and Technology Institute (IMarEST) on behalf of the United Kingdom Engineering Council.

Newcastle University: The University of Newcastle is a public research university in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the Northeast of England. The university can trace its origins in a medical and surgical school, created in 1834, and in the Faculty of Physical Sciences, founded in 1871.

Get a broad-ranging knowledge of Marine Technology. As well as gain in-depth expertise in one of our specialist areas. Also, its program will help you develop the skills to collaborate with engineers from other disciplines with their undergraduate and graduate marine engineering program.

Most importantly, their graduates are sought after by leading industry employers from across the globe.

University Of Michigan: The Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering offers courses that lead to a Master of Science (MS) and/or a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) and a Ph.D.

There are also several options available for double degrees in collaboration with other university programs, such as a joint MSE / MBA degree. These programs are administered by the Horace H. Rackham Graduate School of Studies.

Equally, the undergraduate program is organized to provide the student with extensive training in engineering mechanics by requiring basic courses. Basically, in the fields of structural mechanics, hydrodynamics, marine energy systems, and marine dynamics. These courses cover the fundamental principles of engineering and their application to the design and construction of marine vehicles and systems.

The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program at the University of Michigan is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

University Of Plymouth: The University of Plymouth is a public university based primarily in Plymouth, England, where the main campus is located, but the university has campuses and affiliated colleges in the southwest of England. With 21,645 students, it is the 38th largest in the United Kingdom by a total number of students.

Above all, all students will be distinguished professionally with a diploma accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) on behalf of the Engineering Council. It will increase your opportunities with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and a focus on design, opening a variety of possible careers.

Griffith University: With cutting-edge teaching and research strengths, Griffith University is a great place to study marine science. Located with easy access to a variety of vast natural and artificial waterways, iconic surfing beaches. As well as the various wetlands and coastal biodiversity of Moreton Bay, Gold Coast is the perfect natural laboratory.

Specifically, you will be offered an internship in the maritime industry as part of the industry affiliate program and/or a synthetic experience. Above all, it will expose you to professional activities in the fields of fishing, aquaculture, marine, coastal and/or coastal engineering management.

Then, in your first year, you will take basic courses that provide the necessary fundamentals in the basic sciences. During the second and third years, you focus on your chosen area of specialization.

Delft University Of Technology: The license and master’s program in marine technology will teach you how to design a ship, with all the necessary amenities and facilities. However, a marine engineer will acquire more skills.

It will also cover the optimization of the full shape and the construction of the ship, the design of offshore platforms and the analysis of the construction process.

Graduates not only improve ships (and other marine vessels) but also the processes used to design, build or operate these ships. They work as maritime experts or as integrators in mixed and multidisciplinary teams. The attitude and knowledge required are developed in a difficult and personalized master’s program.

Liverpool John Moores University: The University in Liverpool is located in one of the most known port cities of all times. That’s why Maritime Business Courses are of great importance there. All courses are provided according to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. This university is focused on practical knowledge as they have two ship-handling training and escort tug simulators. What’s more, they collaborate with the prominent marine transporters to assure their students get access to the latest innovation in this area.

The Solent University: The Solent University of Southampton is world-known for its Warsash Maritime Academy. It has fourteen courses related to maritime studies. While some of them can be taken from the first year at the university, others require a specific level of training. Usually, the freshmen take international business, international management, shipping and logistics, as well as marine operations management.
